Participation Agreement Terms
- We are accepting submissions from chiropractors about great success stories they’ve had in their practices. If you have patients that want to share their personal testimonies, particularly testimonies that relate to your professional case stories, we welcome those. All submissions are required to sign a release form.
- We will compile a digital version of submissions included in the book that will be available to all registered chiropractic participants. Participants have the right to distribute electronic and/or printed formats of the completed versions of the Life That Works® Book Project (LTW Book Project) publication, as they see fit, without additional fees or costs incurred by the LTW Book Project. Any modifications to official released versions may incur additional costs. Excerpts of original versions, in their original form, may be used as participants deem necessary.
- Registered participants may include their name or clinic information on the book in such a way as to identify that this book was provided by said participant.
- For those participants that want to print physical books, we will provide a digital, print‐ready version of the current LTW Book Project publication in a format suitable for a printer (a print‐on‐demand format). If you require file types other than the ones provided, inquire about the conversion fee.
- Participants are defined as chiropractors who are currently registered for the LTW Book Project. You do not have to contribute a submission to participate, although we encourage you to do so. Either way, you will still be required to sign up and provide contact information on our Release form.
- We may create additional promotional/educational materials from these stories, which can include but is not limited to social media materials, brochures, press releases, or other materials.
- The target recipient of this material is the American consumer.
- Once material is submitted to us, we retain copyright ownership of that material and can use said submissions in any way we deem fit. Original submitters retain rights to share, sell, edit, or distribute the content of their original submissions, in any form, but do not control the use of that submission by the LTW Book Project.
- We retain the right to publish, or not to publish, any of the submissions we receive.
- We retain the right to edit any submission we receive for grammar, syntax, or any other change deemed necessary, so long as the change does not materially alter the context or facts of the story.
- Stories shared with the LTW Book Project should not include any identifying information about the subject of the story, nor be in violation of any HIPPA regulations. If you use names in your stories, please use fictitious names only.
- Our interest is to promote you and your practice, the chiropractic profession, increased utilization of natural healthcare methods, and generally encourage more personal responsibility regarding health and wellness. Our interest is not to dissuade people from participating in medical care as a means to address crisis or emergency‐type situations.
